  1. Great pictures,
but, difficult for me to say “like” because of some subjects…

    • Well Vincent. The images are still amazing, the subject maybe controversial but the stories still need to be captured. Pictures are far more powerful!!!

      • Well, I expressed myself badly. Yes the pictures are great and strong and I am not criticizing the subject.
Just sad that some things exist. This is why I can not “like”.
        But ok, we must denounce.

      • I understand where you are coming from Vincent. Living in Africa, l sometimes feel offended when western media continual shows pictures of hunger, famine, poverty etc. But l came to realize that, we cannot ignore that these situations do exist… and blaming CNN for showing them does not make them disappear. I hope that by having open and frank discussions we can find solutions to these challenges.

      • I agree with “artemundé”, an association to which I belong, we are trying, with our limited means, to help artisans, including In West Africa. This is our small contribution to the building of a better world or a world with more fair.

      • http://www.artemunde.org. Sorry, it’s in French (we live in the French speaking part of Belgium), but with google translation you can get an idea.

      • Checked out your website. Its a great initiative. My friends & l mulling a similar concept but with an E Commerce function where artists can sell their craft to foreigners and earn an income from exporting their crafts to Europe.
