So finally! Here is one for the birdies! East Africa really has so much to offer it is scary. Over the vast planes of the Serengeti, a kill is an extremely good commodity to have to yourself. It is a place where one can truly witness the value of life and the fight for survival of the fittest!

Taking a break from some of the bigger game we came across this beautiful bunch of vultures nestled onto a small wildebeest caucus, or meeting up for afternoon tea if you like. A great display of thermoregulation by this one bird as it takes advantage of the dry winter suns rays to keep warm. I always find the more you throw yourself into the interest of birds and their ways the more fascinating they become, especially with large birds of prey like these!
