Somewhere in Africa….

…. Someone doesn’t really care what the world thinks

Somewhere in Africa technology is not that important, relationships are

Somewhere in Africa a child is happier climbing a tree, than a child playing on the latest XBox

Somewhere in Africa someone will never have electricty, and the couldn’t careless and they couldn’t be happier without it.

Somewhere in Africa a young man just finished building his mud hut, who needs an architect when God gave you hands

Somwhere in Africa the color of your skin doesn’t matter, the impact of your actions do

Somewhere in Africa a mother is more worried about their child than they are about the national health care system, Obamacare…nature is the best health policy

Somewhere in Africa every guest is a friend, unless you prove yourself to be otherwise

Somewhere in Africa life goes as simple as it was thousand of year ago.

Does that make my world backward, does it make your world more advanced, does it mean we are a basket case?

Does it mean you are better off than my uncle there looking over his vast feilds?

What really matters in life is whether you are happy or not…everything else is an opinion

  1. Reblogged this on A Zimbabwean girl against the world and commented:
This is something I just found and it rally hit me because its so true. Don’t ever use the excuse of having to take advantage if what you have just because others don’t have it. Those others are probably happier without it anyway. Find that joy in your life
